Privacy

Effective 24 October 2026. Applies to the Banterbell iPhone app.

Who holds the data

Thành Luân, an individual in Vietnam, decides why the data is kept. The database, sign-in service and files are on Supabase in Singapore (ap-southeast-1).

Who can use the app

People aged 16 and over. Under 16 cannot create an account. From 16 until 18, Bell uses only the gentle voice and does not accept body measurements.

What the app stores

Stays on the phone

Three switches, off by default

Workout notes do not go to the feed or to Bell. Weight, measurements, photos, sleep and food have no switch that shows them to friends.

Bell

If you turn on “Let Bell AI use training numbers”, the app sends your goal, experience, schedule, equipment and summarized training numbers. It does not send your name, email, photos or notes. The request goes through Supabase in Singapore. It is not yet sent to a separate AI company. When that company is chosen, this page will name them before any data is sent.

If the switch is off, Bell speaks only with lines stored in the app.

Sign-in

If you sign in with email, Apple or Google, that service knows the address used to enter Banterbell. The app does not keep your password in a readable form.

How long

Until you delete the account. Deleting in the app removes your files on the server, then the account and the rows tied to it. A host backup may remain for a short time under Supabase’s backup practice. The app does not sell data and does not run ads that follow you into other apps.
